Community & Diversity

Research that reflects the people it serves.

Medicine works best when the people in a study look like the people who'll use it. Our sites are rooted in some of the most diverse communities in the country — and we build trust on purpose.

We enroll the communities research keeps missing

The national pattern is well documented: African American, Latino, South Asian, and Asian populations are persistently under-represented in clinical trials — often a fraction of their share of the population. Our sites run the opposite way. We consistently enroll these communities at rates that mirror, and frequently exceed, the neighborhoods around us. That isn't chance — it's how we're built.

Why our communities value what we do

Participation is a relationship, not a transaction. When we ask people why they return — and refer their families — these are the answers we hear.

Why we change lives

For many of our participants, a study is their first sustained relationship with the healthcare system. The effects reach far beyond a single protocol.

Everyone belongs in research.

Whoever you are, wherever you're from — if you're curious about a study, we'd be glad to talk.
